Why the name Queerlyscented?

I decided before my divorce and after that I would not hide from anyone who I was and what I stood for.

I need people, brands, and loved ones to know that I am unapologetically queer.

It affects the way I see the world, the way I love, and my values.

What sets you apart from any other “influencer”?

I believe in trying products more than one time to give feedback and reviews.The items I review, where I buy them or not, are not just used once. I want to build genuine following for brands and items that I am consistently loving and using. I am also not afraid to use samples to try and talk about products.

With growing conversations about overconsumption I am ok using a product once and sharing that review so others who are interested can get said item but I don’t have to own everything I talk about.

What is your dream job?

To work in beauty and fashion full time. Simply put I want to create campaigns, drive sales, model, work as an ambassador, and create my own fragrance brand and several lines. I want to do it while being unapologetically myself.

I’ve worked for many brands and companies and I have worn many hats. I see how not listening to feedback and not being able to pivot leads to stagnation and eventually the downfall of any company or brand. My goal is to use marketing strategies, help companies reach their targets and I don’t mind being the face sometimes to make it happen.
